Blackstonian was present today, Mon. Oct. 19th for the press conference held by MAMLEO (Mass. Assoc. of Minority Law Enforcement Officials) as they stated and affirmed a majority member no-confidence vote in current Mayor Menino and BPD Commissioner Ed Davis. Blackstonian was in attendance at the Press Conference held by Boston Mayoral Candidate Michael Flaherty and his running mate Sam Yoon as several Black & Latino Clergy and activists joined to endorse the Flaherty/Yoon ticket for Mayor. This press conference was a stark contrast from the press conference held by Black Clergy from the Black Ministerial Alliance and Ten Point Coaltion which last wek, endorsed incumbent Mayor Menino.
